Instructors teaching stats or research methods courses may need support with the ins and outs of Intellectus. In these training sessions, instructors can walk through their syllabus to ensure that every part of their course outline has the necessary Intellectus components, and that instructors know the details of the output (e.g., how to interpret each plot).
This training is free and done on an individual basis, or with your department. Call 888-383-6639 or email [email protected] to schedule a training day and time.
During these sessions you will have a statistician available to provide guidance on how to complete your project. We will give helpful examples and point you in the right direction to keep making progress. To register, visit the “Consulting Sessions” tab once logged-in to the application.
The fee for the sessions is $99 for one month of access, and you can join as many sessions as you like during that month. If sessions are full we will add more as needed throughout the week.
New to Intellectus, or just need a refresher? These weekly sessions will walk you through using the program from start to finish. These sessions are held every Tuesday at 1pm ET and are open to both users and individuals simply interested in learning more about the program. We will walk you through Intellectus from uploading data to downloading the AutoDrafted results document. There will also be time for questions at the end. Please note that this session is an overview to introduce you to the program. For project specific questions, please attend the Consulting Sessions.
Presented by James Lani, Ph.D.
To facilitate students interacting with Intellectus Statistics for their particular scholarly project or dissertation, we’re pleased to offer a 2-part webinar series (roughly 1.5 hours each) presented by the CEO of Intellectus Statistics, Dr. James Lani. Dr. Lani has been helping graduate students with their quantitative research for over two decades.
During these sessions, we use either student data or mock data to work through students’ research questions, define the level of measurement of their variables, and select the correct statistical analyses. Students will get project specific help and joining these sessions will eliminate the student’s need to hire a statistician to assist with their projects. Other topics covered during these webinars are sample size and power analysis, data management, and visualization techniques.
